Pakzad Nussirabad
Executive Director, Group People (Human Resources)
 

Pakzad Nussirabad leads the People (Group Human Resources) function for the SKP Group. With over 17 years of multidisciplinary experience in diverse organisations ranging from fast-growing mid-sized firms to established multinationals, he is adept at end-to-end people management, spanning the entire employee lifecycle from pre-inception to separation. Besides having led several innovative people-acquisition and retention initiatives, he places great emphasis on coaching and developing people. His information technology background also helps him bring about balanced automation into the people domain without losing sight of the required human interface.

He believes in leading by largely employing an inspiration and belief-focused approach over an authoritarian one. Pakzad has the ability to connect easily with all those he interacts with and loves collaboration, which often results in innovative discovery. He partners actively with SKP’s leadership to develop and deliver people (HR) practices aligned to organisation goals; always factoring in and representing employees’ interest. In addition, he works closely with the business advisory and corporate services practices on HR advisory and service assignments.

Pakzad holds a Masters in Business Administration with Distinction from Cardiff Metropolitan University and was awarded the prestigious Student of the Year award during his time there. His chosen electives viz. Change Management & International Marketing serve him well in his job profile. His association with the University continues as an International Alumni Ambassador.

During his tenure at SKP, Pakzad has been invited to represent the company at multiple forums and events organised such as SHRM, World HRD Congress, People Matters, LinkedIn, IMA, Randstad, etc. He is a member of the IFCCI HR Committee, IMA CHRO Forum & SHRM. In 2017, his contribution has been appreciated by LinkedIn and he was featured as a Thought Leader in their LinkedIn Annual Coffee Table Book. The World HRD Congress also recognised him as one of the most influential HR Leaders in India 2017.

The 360-degree way of life

Rather than work-life balance, he believes in pursuing work-life integration keeping a keen eye on the thin line between the two. Pakzad is a technophile at heart but balances out his love for technology by seeking out mindful pursuits such as meditation, positive psychology and yoga. He also manages to find time to pursue his interest in listening to diverse music and following EPL football.
